Dope new compilation The Dopeman Show out on Otherman-Records featuring tracks from Hujiko Pro, Umio, and way more awesomeness from the far east! Very upbeat songs, smatterings of chiptune, glitch, jungle/drum and bass, breakcore, vocalist's having happy happy fun time and a whole lot more! GRAB DEES CHOONS!
Mother Network comes harder faster better stronger than many 1 man grind bands. Fairly straight forward grind, with a healthy mixture of synths and chip elements. 8-bit sounds are not the focus, merely support for the driving riffs and bombastic beats. A blitzkrieg on your speakers. This is some of the best chip infested grind I've heard in ages. Hear for yourself....
Some sick ass brand spankin' new breakcore for your ears to be damaged to. 9 original tracks and 4 remixes make up the release. Remixes by the greats, FFF, Duran Duran Duran, DJ Donna Summer, and Paul Blackout. Cock Rock Disco does not cease to amaze and neither does b.i.n.t. Spastic break beats, thick aggressive bass, crazy proficient edits. This is dance floor breakcore at its best.
Classic digital hardcore from D-Trash Records and F_Noise. Punk rock vocals harmonize and terrorize over break beats and noise blasts. This band personally inspired me back in the early 2000's. The raw energy makes you want to get up and do something, whether it be tearing down the government or making your own noisey gospel.
Shreddin' amens that will blow your mind. Snare assault blitzkrieg on your senses. This self titled release from Matheus and Sociopath Recordings does not disappoint. The third song, "O D B", reminds me of Venetian Snares "Chocolate Wheelchair" album, the snare tones and break construction as well as the happier backing synths. This album is littered with hip hop interludes from the likes of Aesop Rock and members of Wu-tang Clan, adding greatly to the character of the release, aggressive and playful.
Grindcore plus synths equals awesome. The Great Mire mixes well executed grind with synthesizers providing a much more emotional experience as well as making the music more digestible without loosing any credibility. The songs are long by grind standards (2 minutes on average) and I was left desperately wanting more. Torn Flesh Records does it again with the help of The Great Mire, always providing quality metal for free, further dispelling the myth that free music is bad music.
Dr Butcher MD drops some nasty, dirty, sludgey, stoney, doom and gloomy Breakcore! Serious slower BPM provides more tangible grooves for the inexperienced listener, as well as providing some sick head bobbin for everyone regardless if you have heard breakcore before. The first jam on the record is happily reminiscent of Ablecain, slower breaks aggressively jittering over a H.P. Lovecraft-esque soundscape. Think of the days of black and white horror cinema, groaning organs, shouting claps of thunder. Frankensteins betrayed rage. AND ITS ALL FOR FREE DOWNLOAD! On Bad Taste Records.
Hexis appeared on a 3 way split I posted a while back and took the blue ribbon for best tunes on the split, despite subpar production value. With this one, however, they've upped the ante. Taking the foundation of their efforts on that split and turning it up a notch, both in terms of pure brutality and aggression as well as proper production value, this is a fucking monster.
Released less than a week after the split I mentioned above and previously posted, and at the same time as another release from them entitled "X", "XI" is a no holds barred monolith of blackened post grind. Huge riffs all over the place, blazing fast super technical drums that give way to half time backbeats, both a well executed growl and scream for vocals, heavy on the low ends - it's pretty much perfect. When the 7th track of this one is over, I thoroughly and completely want more. Good thing they released "X" as well and that I've never heard it, about to go download that and get some more of my Hexis fix right now.
Placenta Recordings drops another massive compilation to kick off 2012 proper. and im not just saying that cuz there are 3 tooth_eye tracks on this huge (over 4 hour) release. Besides all the original material, there is a decent amount of live material, and most it from Chicago at a show I played... so yea me posting this isnt about tooth_eye. its about Placenta Recordings and all the other fine artists such as: frika Pseudobruitismus Al-Thawra Black Saturn Meets FluiD Bubblegum Octopus Crackula Crochetcatpause Death Factory Dental Work vs. Arvo Zylo Dental Work vs. Hemorrhoidal Anal Suffering Devoured By Gramps DJ embryonic PETIT sac Eprom Colony Fatale Feedbacula Geronimo Arafat H8 no.3 Intercamalemelont ISLAND ISYA Kessenchu Khrysalis Le Cose Bianche IIIe + kNullp Lost Appeal Matt Hex Medicine Mouth Neuro Kampf & Cherie Roi Nurse Ratched Painburn PIGSHIT Systemofadon Terry Childers The Circulatory System The Implicit Order The Men Of Easy Leisure The Nyhylist Tooth_Eye vs. Vankmen Tooth_Eye Tooth_Eye vs. RedSK Zilmrah so there you have it. definitive proof this is not about tooth_eye. its about the music... mostly
Self described dark, epic and atmospheric astral occultic black metal from Overlord of Crimson Moon, whom I've only listened to a handful of times. Regardless, description is pretty spot on. When the synths are running the show, it sometimes feels like the soundtrack to the coolest video game you've never played. Shit's good.
Sure, it's not hot off the streets, dating back to 2004, but I bet you haven't heard it yet, either. Sold out limited edition physical release, so here you go. Check it.
Raveyard provides us with a fresh slab of drone.. made by haunted eyelids and stinking of buggies at work. Very relaxing ambience is provided, although at times it can get rather spooky and tense. Theater of the Haunted Eyelid paints a picture of a post-apocalyptic world, filled with elephant sized man eating bugs screaming like cicadas on a summers night. Except its right in your ear. Beware headphones, you may have the urge to run, and nothing is worse than attempting to run from something stuck to your head.
The mighty ehafh finally graces the masses with another release! The man behind the fantastic label Dramacore, frequent Sickmode collaborator and one of the people behind the old school and revolutionary IRK MEDIA. Using only a Octave Cat analog synthesizer and a computer to record it. This is analog ambient at its purest. No digital manipulation. Pure analog sexiness. Thanks to Flaccid Plastic Records and Din Gle for putting this out. Now the rest of the world can see what my Chicago buddy ehafh has been holding down these past couple years. You won't be disappointed!
"DarkWare products were produced from June'05 till December'05. The first public DarkWare release was El Fuego, the last public Darkware release was Glitch Jockey (arguably The Nightmare Machine could be considered the final release). DarkWare products were featured in a variety of electronic music software magazines (Computer Music, Future Music, DTMM, etc.), and quickly amassed a cult following. However, after nearly 30 DarkWare releases, Jack got tired of producing freeware VST. Thusly in January '06, Jack ended DarkWare permanently so he could start selling commercial VST called NOVUZEIT."
thanks to Myrrh Ka Ba for bringing this collection of excellent and aesthetically pleasing vintage VSTs to my attention
new mix from Baseck feat. tracks by: Current Value , Duran Duran Duran , All Leather , xanopticon , WMX , LE JAD , Julien Monsterx , The Teknoist , Igor Wilkonski , COOH / BALKANSKY / IVAN SHOPOV , and more!
Shreddin' Hardcore/Breakcore from Sadistician and Viral Conspiracy Records. Sick snare edits, fantastic sampling, Splashes of various forms of metal, and break neck gabber kicks. Not to mention some dirty ass synths. Oh theres some evil ass vocals too (Because of the awesome remixes of Mayhem and Emperor) Ch3k 1t!! 8=====D ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ XD (sploogsh! in yo face wit da cum cum bass!)
Fast. driving break beats. Pounding hardcore kicks. Socio-Political samples. Shredding guitar samples. What more do you need? Don't pass this one up. For fans of D-Trash and Ec8or/Atari Teenage Riot digital hardcore, with more of a breakcore spin.
Fuckyeah, death metal! Pretty brutal stuff here, some blazing drums and tight as fuck guitar work under a proper growl/scream. Some sick shifts in time signature, peculiar intros, and other level atmosphere and mood for death metal. Real good.
A bit more melodic and straight forward than I generally opt for, but I find myself still pretty pleased with these guys. A properly produced EP of death metal with melodic elements and some black metal tones here and there. 'Nuff good musicianship, choice growl from the vocalist, sick logo. Nothing earth shattering, but definitely enjoyable if you like metal - especially of the death variety.

Another smokey album for your earz. We getting blitzed here at the Magi today. Hardcore kicks meet electro dub bass wobbles and breakcore style sampling combine to form Pogohm "Herb Is A Plant". Arnaud (Pollux and Pogohm) said he wanted to make "dubcore", dub atmosphere and hardcore techno/gabber energy. I think he achieved his goal, and even if he didn't, it came out great. Download it, pretend its a brand new 7" from a dusty record store, wash your hands, roll a spliff, and press play. Your work is done.
Heres some Jah spankin' new Raggacore to beat the bludclot outta the dance floor to. 4 tracks from the ill Ninjah Fareye and 1 track from Ninjah Fareye and TalixZen. Can't beat that with a very large weed plant. Roll up a phatty L and get jiggy with it. W3Rd!

"Do you remember the Pink Elephants on Parade scene, from the 1941 Disney masterpiece, in which Dumbo, after accidentally becoming intoxicated, see pink elephants sing, dance, and play trumpets during a hallucination sequence? Yes, Dumbo gets mad!" -taken from archive.org

Eclectic prawn, galactic prawn, eclectic prawn, galactic prawn. This is the story of eclectic prawn, he wears a little pretty crown dancing through the bubbles he is now standing on the bottom of the sea. He knows his look thanks to the eyeballs of the fishes swimming nearby his throne, he may be fooled by those reflections as it happens even up in the shore. Eclectic prawn, galactic prawn.
He’s regarded like a king of the sea he never talked to me, i still think he is a gentleman i don’t wanna bother him until i might
And now it’s time to visit his castle, i hope i’ll know who i am, i’m sure i’ll find good vibes, hot salty sparkling water
Altered Statez.... cover art psilocybin mushrooms... and whole bunch of crazy nasty breaks INSIDE! OhMega Sir, Nebulist, Matheus all lend tracks. The included songs range from jungle, downtempo breaks, IDM, dubstep, and variations and mutations of said genres. As the title and album art suggest, smokey lounge chill outs are a logical conclusion to pressing play. I suggest rolling yourself a phat blunt, throw on these tunes, maybe put your favorite anime on mute and kick back you deserve some relaxation.
