Adult Swim: Music - Scion Presents Metal Swim

"16 tracks of rare or unreleased metal from the heaviest band's in existence."

Hey. Scion. Thanks. I dig this "free metal stuff" marketing campaign. Good job.

Thanks Adult Swim for being cool.

And thanks Hydra Head for signing good metal bands.

[RR.44] [tlr] - in the future, i will barf lazerz (2007)

Been meaning to post this for a while. I am very proud to say that my 2007 album was re-released by Robo! Robotica in June 2010, and has been downloaded 320 times since then. Thanks Phil! You rule.

The super rad artwork was made by

the amazing MEOWLORI. Hire her.

[[[[^_^ =^+^= ^_^]]]]

This album is relatively unconnected to NVR-NDR, my current project. I also have an almost finished follow up album entitled:

"Giant Space Tacos from Space that are Giant and From Space"

Which I should really just hurry up and finish.

Fadt Fanfare - Fini Hum Land (2008)

Another one of my favorite releases from Ego Twister.
Fadt Fanfare is cute strange sounds living in a mushroom...

Symptoms - Outspoken Goodbye (2008)

Symptoms = Really cool weird industrial instrumental metal from Italy.

Def give it a listen, it's pretty darned unpredictable and awesome.

Released by Death To Music.

George & Jonathan - The Best Music

Pretty funky videogame-esque album by George & Jonathan.

Apparently it was made entirely using this program.

Doesn't seem to have album cover art, and I've had bits of the Labyrinth stuck in my head all day.

Recommended to me by my friend ESM from Baby Giraffes.

Killings in Fashion - The Faey Recordings

New free EP from my good friend Sheldon James, AKA Killings in Fashion, AKA Overdose Digital.

Some female fronted trip-hop / industrial pop. Trip-goth. Who knows these days, right?

[DTM029] 8-Bit Cannibal - Part 1

8-bit covers of classic metal songs, released by Death To Music.

Interview here with 8-Bit Cannibal.

Expect to hear more from Death To Music here, I am really digging their offeringz to the cyber metal gods..

[twe004] Niwouinwouin - The Fall Of The Supers

A older but really awesome release from one of my favorite french left field/electro labels, Ego Twister.

Niwouinwouin is still a super hero in my book. This release comes with multiple awesome alternative album covers.

I'll probably post another one of my favorite Ego Twister releases later tonight.

Spartz - Break Your Toys (DJ set)

Picture not really related. I've just been obsessed with Voltron.

Really dope mix by Spartz sent to me by my homie Pashon of Day & Night Blog.

This mixe bounces through a zillion genres of electronic music with amazing ease.

More info on the mix here.

Hara-Kari Kitty - 32-Bit Vampire Rainbow Necking

Take a trip back to 2004 and enjoy the sounds and sights that come with the package of Hara-Kari Kitty! From way down in South Texas this 8 bit black metal monster does not let you down. From the one and only Brokecore Recordings!

Sticky Dreams 2 : The Soggy Biscuit

Grindcore/Goregrind/Pornogrind compilation i appeared on a number of weeks ago. A good representation of the direction the grind genre has been heading in the past few years. my track definitely stands out due to its extreme difference to the styles on the rest of the compilation.

Shere Kahn - Chemitone LP

a banging new album by the great Shere Kahn of Ireland. A real inspiration in the ailing breakcore scene. i especially love the 90s nu metal breakcore mash up that runs through limp bizkit, slipknot, soul fly and more.

EP3 - Modernation

More awesome organic electronic rock action released by Abstract Logic Recordings
What a gem! Love this album.

On a roll here...

chronicles of the land squid - the 2010 EP

“The Landsquid has evolved from a dormant, ocean-dwelling beast to a terrestrial dance-machine.” – the kraken

Really awesome genre defying epic instrumental stuff.

Released by Abstract Logic

I saw it via tweet by Johan Ess.

Bear & Walrus - August, 1812

very pretty instrumental bit pop

check this out, it kicks major ass.
