Trans Atlantic Rage/Zumul - Split

Photobucket

I got this release in cd form a few months ago and never really listened to it. A couple weeks ago i put it in the cd player to listen while i played some Mana Khemia 2 and the cd hasnt really left the player since. Whether it be the soundtrack to your solo nerd night or a pleasant evening constitutional, this album is a relaxing compliment. Soundscapes pulled from the ocean that is our Universe. The art does a really good job explaining through sight what you're ears will soon learn. Stick it in, flop on the couch, and buckle in. You might just float away.

[LTR016]Zebra Mu - Lavatorial Hardware Bondage

cover art

An early release from the fantastic label Love Torture Records. Zebra Mu accomplishes very aggressive, diverse noise through the use of various analogue equipment including circuit bent toys and self built instruments/devices. Its great to see someone making aggressive noise thats harsh without sounding like half the Harsh Noise artists out there. Alot of noise sounds like regurgitated crap from the last person. This album does not. Check it out, its FREE after all!

VA - Wheel of Fortune #3

cover art

Brand new compilation from Kermesse Records. the music ranges from harsh noise, drone, dark ambient, experimental, and much more. Tooth_Eye( me :) ) provides track #2. Other artists include To-Bo, Playing with Nuns, Ten-0, Balogh, and many more. Its definitely a listen to compliment idle contemplation. I often enjoy riding the train while listening or Burning incense at night and read some good ole' H.P. Lovecraft. Regardless how you choose to listen, it should be a very enjoyable experience!

Spin Drive Smasher - Crazy Tiny EP

Terra from Final Fantasy 6 by Jason Chan

From Mine! All Mine Records comes Spin Drive Smasher's "Crazy Tiny EP." Suggested by Pashon Coop of Day & Night Blog.

"While many modern chiptune artists like to focus on club-style music, Spin Drive Smasher takes its cue from Final Fantasy, Megaman and other NES-era classics."

[rec72] Kurobear - Special Electric

cover art

After long weeks of anticipation, Kurobear finally realeses "Special Electric". Released on the respectable net label rec72, this album is a pleasant mixture of downtempo electronica, idm, glitch, and house elements. This all comes together to provide a relaxing mix to throw on while hanging out with a few friends, or adding to your latest dj mix for all those non-hardcore noise shows! Be sure to grab this album as soon as possible! Enjoy this, it may be awhile before we hear from Kurobear again!
