A cool offering for the Fact mix series by way of Leaving Records lovely Julia Holter, comprised primarily and almost entirely of field recordings put together like pieces of a puzzle than only just barely fit with one another and which need a little forcing, yet somehow still yielding an incredible piece of work when complete. It feels like those days in the city with the headphones on which occasionally get drowned out by various things or which need to be removed to interact with a person or thing in your immediate surroundings for a moment. Hazy, daydreamish, sort of esoteric industrialized ambient and sonic ambiance.
